“Minneapolis is a thriving, growing city with residents from all over the world – including East Africa. As Mayor I have been, and will continue to, stand up for all communities throughout the city, especially when they’re being threatened by President Trump. I’m proud to serve our diverse communities, and I look forward to advancing equity in and between all communities during my second term.”
“Minneapolis waa magaalo sii koraysa oo haddana ay wax waliba si heer sare ah u shaqaynayaan, waxaa degan dad weyne ka kala yimid daafaha aduunka – oo ay ku jiraan kuwa Geeska Afrika ka yimid. Maadaama aaan ahay Duqa magaalada waxaan horayna ugu hawlgalay hadana sii wadi inaan u adeego dhamaan bulshada ku nool maagaaladan. Waliba wax aan si gaar ah ugu taaganahey difaacida dadweynaha magaalada degan ee ay sida gaarka ah u saameyneyso siyaasadaha nacaybka ku dhisan ee madax wayne Trump.
